“A Collective Quest for Equal Pay”

Join us for an important discussion around equal pay. The gender wage gap is real – we won’t debate that. But what does the fight for pay equity look like in America today? This session will dig deep into the definition and understanding of pay equity versus pay equality. We will also learn how intersectionality including race, motherhood, age and class impact pay equity. Finally, we will be introduced to three ways to pursue equity and important action items focused on

  1. Advocating for Yourself: Negotiate!

  2. Advocate for Your Organization to Champion Equal Pay

  3. Advocate within Your State: Pay Transparency Legislation
